This weekend the Quilt Extravaganza is happening in Berea, Ky. It is a wonderful little quilt show featuring some great local artists and there will be some terrific vendors! While you are there visit some of the many artisans that call Berea home.

Berea is in central Ky about 30 miles south of Lexington. It is right off of I-75, exit 76. It is a wonderful little town, home of Berea College and full of fine artists and many interesting shops.

Hope you get to feeling better. I think you would enjoy the show.

Just going to Berea anytime to visit the shops and the school is a wonderful trip in itself but add the Quilt Extravaganza, I have to get better. This is truly a special trip I would not want to miss this year. Last year we found a wonderful little restaurant (don't ask the name because I can't remember) that served the best home cooked meals.
Yes, I have to get better.

I'm going, I live in the same county. It's always fun to go and see the beautiful quilts and shop the vendors. It's a small show, but there are lots of things to do there. the Kentucky Artisan Center is at the next exit north of the 76 and it's a great place to visit also.
