I'm so proud of this. I made a lap quilt originally to give to a nursing home, but after reading so many stories about them going missing, I decided I'm going to give it to a shut in at my church for Christmas. I'm not sure which one yet, but I had to share pics.It was the first time I've ever quilted curves and to put a little more pressure on myself, I used white!.

And do you put your name on the tag if you give it away?

it was a little windy, but this was the best pic I took

my first ever attempt at curves, but I love it and will definately do this again!

very nice...keep up the good work....yes, you could put a label on it with your name and perhaps the date and the city and state...or a little verse or whatever you want.

your quilt is beautiful. i love the curved quilting you did in the center. i believe anybody you give this too will find a source of comfort beneath the love you quilted into it. i would definitely history the back. you never know where you quilt will eventually end up. (isn't that a neat thought.) :-)

I so agree... and guess what, You still have time to make another one before Christmas so you can give to more than one person if you like...
