I spent a year making quilts for each of my 7 grandkids 2 years ago. I tried to make each quilt fit that child, and I made them pillow covers to go with the quilts. The twins quilt started it all, the fabric is the same in each, with the lions and elephants fussy cut and surrounded by the colors they liked. Grandkids range in age from 6 to 10. This year I have a new grandbaby, and yes, he is also going to sport a new quilt! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Dakota is into the nascar racing stuff, his blocks represent the flags.

Evan is into trains. The train tracks are mitered at corners and the track goes all the way around

Peter is the great fisherman, like his daddy and grandpa

Trenton is the oldest and he likes dirt bikes

Mason, twin 2, Just loves Elephants and the color red

Lilly is the only girl in the group. Had to get feminine with hers.

Great job, they look great.
I did the same thing for my 4 grandchildren.
One I put her pictures all over it, she was the 1st one.
Now I need to make a new quilt, the pictures just don't make it to long with kids.
