ser·en·dip·i·ty/ˌserənˈdipitē/
Noun:
The occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way: "a fortunate stroke of serendipity".

If it weren't for our unintended mistakes, some of our projects would not be nearly as succesful and beautiful. Chant this word to yourself next time you make a mistake and you may end up seeing the project take you in a different direction leading to serendipity. Just my own thoughts I wanted to share. :)

That is a wonderful term to use and remember! Thank you for sharing and I hope that I can/will use it more often.

Serendipity....I've always loved this word and call my little cottage Serendipity House. It was such a quirk to find it on Craigslist when I least expected it, with all the beneficial features I needed and a landlord that's the dearest ever.

Serendipitous indeed! :-D

That isn't the word I usually think of when I make a mistake.

That is my point exactly. You don't have to love or even like your mistakes, just realize that they can open up totally unexpected and awesome paths, whether it be in the current project or gives you an idea for one in the future. :)

not usually what I think of with my mistakes, but I'm going to have to print this one out and keep it close by. :)

Love it.
