It's advertised on tv to clear car headlights back to new. I was told it was the same product as the smooth top range cream cleaner. I haven't tried it yet.

I don't think I've seen the product you're talking about, but my husband cleared up our cloudy headlights with some polish and a buffer.

A neighbor bought what you are talking about and it helped a little. I saw this on the net & you might try it first.

Restore Your Headlights
Sometimes the plastic headlight cases can get pretty cloudy, causing your headlights to look dull. Using some toothpaste (and an old toothbrush that is past its prime), buff the inside of the plastic. Then, rinse out the headlight case thoroughly. Once dry, reassemble the light fixture. Good as new.

I read the newer toothpastes won't work with plastic and can cause a reaction so test it first.

My late Father-in-law was in the Air Force. The canopies on the fighter planes had a problem getting cloudy. He used a soft cloth and Bon Ami cleanser to buff the canopies. I've used it on the headlights of my car and it works really well.

I bought one of the $8 kits at Wal-Mart and it cleared my headlights up. It took way longer than the 30 seconds they claim on tv though. The problem is headlights aren't glass anymore and you don't remove and replace the whole light so the lens part stays in for the life of the car.

My DH uses WD-40 and buffs them. Works wonderfully.

Save your money. We used to sell a product that was similar in our leather/vinyl repair business. It was for car headlights. It helps a little but not for long. I found it was cheaper in the long run to buy new headlight lenses. The ones for my van only cost about $40. I don't know about the cost for any others.

that restoration stuff may work if your lights aren't real bad, mine are and all the fast brite did was get them nice and clean (removed bug grime) but they still look terrible
