No, it's likely to be missing, but they're easier to get than these machines.

It's got the same decals as mine (ohhh!). Needs quite a bit of elbow grease and some nickel plating, but would come up beautifully.

I wouldn't pay that much, considering the work it needs.

Yes, yes it is. and it's adorable though I have no idea if it's worth $150.

ETA: I just searched the Kansas City CL and found one in about the same condition going for $40 but I think it sold recently as the ad was being pulled as I searched for it. The market has a huge range, I'm finding out.

I alwasy get a kick out of sellers saying "its in great condition" for a machine that is in nice shape - I guess they've never actually seen one in great condition.

Or is this the Politically Correct thing? You know, where you can't tell say something negative even when it's true?

Missouri seems to have some of the best prices on vintage/antique machines. DH and I joke about people traveling west and getting across the river at St. Louis, and then deciding it's time to lighten the load before heading farther west!

I think "in great condition" for 100+ years old is what people assume. Since they aren't usually using these machines they just don't know.
Hey, they are all Singers too. Even the Whites.

Every now and then I get frustrated at folks posting ads say that their machine "is in great condition for it's age" and I send them a picture of my 140 year old Wheeler & Wilson #4 with sterling silver arms and 98% of the decals remaining, the wood in virtually flawless condition, and let them see "THIS is a machine is "great" condition for it's age..." Only one has ever replied.
