Here is a snapshot or two of one of my kitties, smush. This Is the one that was laying on the bed in my "help me pick" thread. The one of her with her toy was when she was really sick, she is doing much better, we are still trying to get her to put on weight.

I bet there is a very small cat under all that hair! She looks like a character!

Oh, my gosh. She is "Little Miss Purrsonality Fluff" in that top photo! So glad she is doing better.

Rather regal looking, isn't she? Hope she puts some pounds on to support her lovely coat.

Aw, she's adorable! I've never seen a kitty with that pug type face, it's cuter on kitties almost!

Thank you all!! I got her 5 years ago from the pound. I have to shave her twice a year because her hair is so cotton candy like and try as she might she can't take good care of it. The lighting was bad, her color is "blue and cream" but really just a light smokey grey with light orange spots. She was always a skinny cat, never over 8 lbs but when she was sick she got down to almost 3 lbs. I didn't think she would make it. But I give her dry food, can food, full fat Greek yogurt, baby food (chicken and turkey), cat treats, regular chicken, tuna anything she will eat every time I get up. She has not hit the 5 lb mark yet, but she is so far holding on. She has been very playful and willing to eat lately. She will go for more blood work in a few weeks to see how her anemia is. She has been off the phenobarbital and prednisone for about two months with no relapses or seizures. We don't know what was wrong other than anemia and a new heart murmmer ( probally because of the anemia). she had a seizure, but we don't know why. We suspect a brain tumor, but she had had no psychological symptoms since the seizure. Hopefully when we go for blood work the vet will guide us to the next step.

We give our outside cats eggs mixed with their wet food during the fall and winter--helps them put on weight and coat.
