Default a helpful thread...revisited

Hello all! As I was emptying the last of two plastic containers of baby spinach today, and was almost ready to throw them in recycling when... I remembered!! They will be perfect for holding a couple of small projects of mine, or just holding some scraps I'm using in another project! I remember this thread from the not-too-distant-past, but don't remember it's title. So I just thought I'd put it up here again for those who missed it the last time. Think of all those food containers we use and remember that some of them we can recycle in our "quilting heavens!" Tell us what you use to hold your quilting supplies that came from the grocery store!!

(don't you just love those moments when you actually REMEMBER something!! Love that little light bulb moment!!)

Yep, I've been doing that with various containers ever since I read that post!

The little plastic boxes/trays that hold mushrooms are a great size for keeping small things together. The shallow ones I use for transporting my hand applique up and down stairs. The deeper ones I use for corralling my pens/pencils, short ruler, small note pads etc on my cutting table or sewing table.

Not food but these are some of the things I re-use:
Containers from the wet mop pads. They hold 2 stacks of 5" squares/charms and have a clear lid to see whats in there.
Plastic gum containers have a flip up lid that pins can be dispensed from.
I scrubbed out a baby wipes container, lined it with foil, and I stash my chocolate and jelly beans away from my DH. He has never used a baby wipe so it is not likely he would check what was in there.
