Default Name your comfy hand sew location?

Had a rare 2 whole days off, weather rainy and miserable. So I put together a quilt top with beach scene panels with lots of different colour blue and white strips, for my surfer son (not sure how to do the photo thing yet, so can't show you). Whilst on a roll, I decided to unpick a quarter of it and do it again, so took it to my son's football game (we can park around the oval at country footy). We have to get there an hour before the game, so sat in the warmth of the car, unpicking. I thought this is comfier and with better light than inside my house, must do this in the car more often. I sit in my recliner with a good TV program or movie. It works because I have an Ott light and a lighted magnifying lens on a stand that comfortably reach over the side of my recliner and illuminate my work day or night.

Mine is my bed! I am pretty much housebound due to illness at the moment and I have to spend the majority of my time in my bed. I am so glad that I decided to start an EPP project or I might have gone a little bit mad by now! :-)

Actually --- i sit a my kitchen table...so i can watch TV....and pull up my ironing board in front of me to hold the work while i stitch. I can get that board to just the right height i want to rest my arms and the work on it. My family room chairs are too soft and squishy to sit in to sew....i fall asleep !!!!

My Gand sewing is a take along project so it's wherever I happen to be.

Believe it or not my favorite hand sewing area is just 3 feet west of my sewing machine! LOL Comfy chair, good light, easy access to anything I may need, sewing table is right in front of me if I need to rest large project, radio softly playing on a country rock station. (I don't really care for TV) Safe side table for my tea, coffee, or on a really stressful day, wine. LOL Can't hear the phone from there so leave a message if DH doesn't answer.
