Default I have a question for Mac Pro users

What is the best way to configure your settings to post pictures??? I cannot seem to post any pictures lately, from those taken with my iphone which gets sent to my computer. I have the WYSIWYG as my chosen setting?? I don't remember having any problems with a windows computer. I have tried both Safari and Chrome. Neither wants to load a picture file. Thanks for your input.

I have a program on my computer that reduces the photos to 72 pixels. Do you have any adjustment on the size of the picture you take?? That is usually the main reason that photos won't post. Good Luck!

I agree, size is usually the issue. When you send an image from your phone to your computer (I often email it to myself) it asks what size, and you should choose a smaller size to send.

I don't see any procedure on the mac to "resize" the pictures that automatically get imported to my computer, but I could email them to myself, select a small or medium size and use that file to try to upload here I'll give that a try. I was hoping someone else that has a mac pro could give me some tips on the picture issue if they have success on their computer. No issues uploading to email or Facebook at all.

I have a MacBook Air. When I want to post/upload pics anywhere, I open photos, then I choose which one I want to send/post, then when I have the cursor on the chosen small photo icon I press on the track pad with one finger and 'drag' the photo to an area on the desktop with another finger! Sorry, it sounds odd, but it works. When I want to post/upload a photo, from the options -computer, file or desktop- I choose desktop. It works for me on my Mac.

When you open a photo on a mac, the default program is usually "Preview". When the photo opens in Preview, click on "tools" then on "adjust size". I have a photo transfer app that I use to send photos from my iphone to my macbook. It's called "Infinit" and you can download it in the app store. Hope this helps.

Like Charley26, I load from my IPhone to IPhoto, I then export from IPhoto and save to desktop and upload picture from there. I have it set to medium.
