Default Vintage Singer...Unknown Model

At my old homeplace, I came across an old Singer that is in sad condition, but is a bit unusual to me. It seems really, really old and looks larger than the norm to me. It is missing a throatplate and a bobbin, etc. It had very fancy painting when new....I can tell. The numbers I found on the metal plate on the front are G0082927. Any information will be helpful. I will try to post a picture also.

Oh, it also has a case that is intact. No marking on it at all.

Gold pretties are decals. Be very careful cleaning it.
