Default brother's modern quilt finished

Made this for my brother out of a piece I had left from another quilt. The backing is yummy warm flannel. So perfect for these sub 0 temps in SW Ohio today! Of course, the local project inspectors had to check things out! LOL!!

Thanks for looking.

Somewhere though along the way I messed up the math for the binding and found myself about 60 inches short!!!! Yup - really bad!!!! I went to the quilt store and found a fabric that blends greatly and is very subtle to not affect the overall design.

I like the quilt you made for your brother. It's a calming quilt. Symmetrical in it's asymmetry.

What a beautiful quilt! I'm in Columbus, OH, and these single-digit temperatures are just mean. The perfect day to either quilt or snuggle under one.

That's a pretty quilt. I really like the pattern.

Beautiful kitty, too! Is that a Maine Coon?
