Default Wonder Clips - What size suits you?

I was looking through Keepsake Quilts today and saw an add for the Clover mini-clips. A suggested use was to use instead of pins. I can see where Clover clips would be useful with binding but are the mini-clips large enough to manage and hold the binding?

Wonder Clips - What size suits you?

Thanks.

I like the minis for binding; I find that they're just the right size. The markings on the flat side are great for keeping the binding straight.

I have some of the bigger ones, as well. I use them for organization more than when sewing. For example, if I'm making 200 HST's, I will clip them together in sets of 10 or 20 (or some convenient number) so that I can keep track of how many I have.

The large ones would probably also work for binding... I got them after the minis, so never tried.

I only have the mini clips & I use them sometimes for binding. However, I have found that I like those metal looking little clips for hair work best for my binding. The kind that look like this: https://www.amazon.com/HipGirl-Metal...r%2Bclips&th=1

I like the 'regular' size for binding. I received a set of mini-clips for Christmas, but only tried to use them once. I think for binding they are a bit too small for that use, but I'm sure I'll use them eventually. I also have a few of the large ones which I have used a couple times when sewing home dec fabric.

I prefer the metal hair clips like ones but do have a bit of the red clips. i guess they are the mini. i use them on bindings sometimes. if they have markings on them, i've never noticed. Will have to take a look.

I use both of them but use the small ones more often.

I use the small ones. I don't have to remove them when hand sewing binding or when matching seams. I have pint jar full of the small ones. I detest using pins for anything.

I have both sizes also. I mostly use the smaller ones. They are worth having on hand for many situations, not just binding. I recently used them when making a bag on a part that was too thick to pin.

I use the smaller ones, I have 100 of those handy little things. I use them when I do binding (saves me from becoming a pin cushion), holding pattern pieces together when sewing. They even work great to keep the yarn in place when I am using one of the hoop knitting gadgets.

I love the Clover wonder clips, but I only use the standard (medium) size that are red. Didn't know there were mini clips out there. May need to try them. I use them for holding strips in place when I glue them with the stick glue, it has certainly improved my matching seams. The mini's might work nicely on my EPP holding it in place until the glue adheres.
