I was blown away by the quilts on display at the Shipshewanna (Indiana) Quilt Fest yesterday. Very, very impressive work here.. I've seen a few of these quilts at two shows this year and while these pictures are beautiful when you actually see the detail up close it's another level of amazing!

Could stare at them forever - the color/fabric selections, the stitching, the precision - so much to garner/learn from these works of art!

While this is 'way way way outside of my wheelhouse' too - I still aspire to do this well someday!

Some of these look like actual photos and not real quilts they are so detailed and spectacular! What amazing talent these contestants have! Like many, I could stare at some of these forever!
