Default Have you ever used Kraftex for a project?

I keep seeing ads for Kraftex and wonder how durable it really is--it says it's washable, etc but...it's paper!
I am planning to make a messenger bag for my son's new computer plus some bags for quilters to use for projects and wondered if this would be durable enough I'm thinking it would not need lining???

I think connecting threads just came out with something like this. It sounds like a good product. Hopefully it is.

I made a wallet using the pattern on the packaging, worked very well. Crafty Gemini has a tutorial she did a man's wallet. Man Sewing (Rob Appell) used the Kraft tex as well. The first person I ever saw using it was Deb from Sew so easy (I think that's the you tube channel). You can just put Kraft tex in the search on YouTube and find many tutorials. I really liked using it and it really does look like leather when you wash and crumble it up. Good luck with it and have fun.
