I haven't sold a thing in over a month...........it's $15/month just to have the store....it does cost a little less to list................
no sale, the $15 burns my A$$!

With baby and DD, it's hard to keep up with, anyway..........

    any thoughts?

Why not wait till after the holidays? It may get better with Christmas coming. We got secret Santa coming up, Offer a minimal discount for the holidays, Put another thread here and post the site location again. We get lots of new people here, Think like a corporate, Plug it......Just a thought.

You could concentrate on flea markets and other types of markets........share a table with someone and make some small items to offer...........like pencils with santa heads or inexpensine little mending kits Any thing that goes with the season'''''''red and green fabric and thread, needles and glue glitter........k[i]d fun kits........ :D

You could also try Etsy. It's an online store (not auction like Feebay) and they have *great* rates!

There's a minimal fee for listing items, items are listed for 30 (or 90??) days, you have your own *free* store front -- it's a great site. There's even a category for "supplies" which is probably where you'd list most of your items.

It's for independent crafters to have an online place to sell. The supplies dept would be a definite plus...lots of things sell on there, but crafters *always* need supplies! You could even discount your prices a bit since it's much less $$ than ebay.

Check it out. It's easy. No, I don't work for them, have no affiliation (other than as a buyer! yay!) but I am thinking about becoming a seller.....hmmmm

    good luck!

I never heard of Etsy before, but the website has some great stuff. Prices seem reasonable, too. Miranda, I don't know what to tell you. Shipping and handling charges have really curtailed my e-bay buying, and I'm probably not alone. What would be a bargain downtown becomes too pricey when it costs so much to get it home. Is there a local craigslist where you are?

I'd wait till after Christmas if I could. You can try and not be a store but just a regular seller whereby the listing charges are a little less.
