Default How do you check # of stitches used on a Bernina Virtuosa 150?

I've googled and youtubed to find the answer and it is eluding me. I want to check the number of stitches my Bernina Virtuosa 150 has stitched and if you know how to do it I'd appreciate your help. I've tried holding the reverse button and the clear button in while turning it on and that doesn't work.

The Virtuosos are too old, and don't have a stitch counter built in.

Some of the machines have stitch counters ....
.... but only accessible by the servicemen in their mysterious ways!

Could it be that this is one of them?

I also think that it can only be accessed by the service person if the machine has a counter. That is true of both my newer machines. When I oil my B530 (because the screen shows the maintenance symbol) I know that it has stitched 360,000 stitches. That is what the manual says that trips the symbol. However, I do not know the total number of stitches over the life of the machine.

The machine was bought in 2000 so I don't think of it as an old machine.

In our world, yes, I agree it is not old.
However, sad to say, in the world of technology, it's ancient.
Sorry ... but how many times have seen/heard this with our computers, phones, etc.?
Our sewing machines jump right in there with them.

It is 2019 so the machine is almost 20 years old and 20 years old is considered vintage! Hard to believe isn't it?

I also have this same machine and I love it! I will be one very sad quilter when it finally gives up the ghost. I think I got mine around the same time you got yours, circa 2000 or 2001.

I have the "blueberry" version and can't imagine replacing it!

I have the 153QE and adore it. Still sews as beautifully as the day it came home. Sometimes, I get new Bernina dreams and look at them, but have never found one that I like any more than this. I've no desire at all for embroidery. The only thing I would like is the BSR - but even that has downsides.

I do have a 220 that I use for travel (sewing days @ guild, retreats and vacation) that I also love. Just a bit smaller and easier to move.
