Sewing machine
Hi I am new to this quilting group,vi have a New home ideal (D) a vintage sewing machine,I am struggling to find parts and a manual can anyone help. I would be glad of any information passed on. Many thanks Maureen.

Welcome, Maureen. I'm not sure, but I think your machine will take an odd needle known as 20x1. There are some for sale on Ebay. However, many have had success with dropping a 15x1 just a bit. I'm sure there are other manuals out there, but perhaps https://www.sil.si.edu/DigitalCollec...0741/index.htm would help.
We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! I don't have an answer for you about your machine but I do know there are some here that can be very helpful and Ourworkbench in one of them!
