Just picked this up today. Even before clean-up, it stitches real nice. Another happy day. Will post up further pictures once the machine is all cleaned up. Any info, as always...greatly appreciated

Very nice. I like hand crank machines. As you probably know it is similar to a 66, but is smaller (considered 3/4 size, like the 128 is the 3/4 size of 127) and a little different shape. You did well. Glad to see the original handcrank, too. Great stitches, too. don't pull out the red felt under the bobbin slide. It is an oil wick.

Had looked at another but that had a repro HC and was on a mid 50's 99K which didn't appeal. This one is a 1922 model in what seems to be original condition

ps: regarding the oil wicks for vsm----where can you get the wicks for the 15-91 i wonder?

Luckily, the original manual was included It's only took me 2-3 years to track one these down here

Turns out this is a 99K-1 with the smaller tension discs....time to source a check spring for it

McMaster Carr has the wicking, 3/16" is the correct diameter, I believe.
