Unhappy Avatar Wording.

I was pm'd and asked what the words are on my avatar.

They are "My Hero Fell 1971. I Will Respect. Honor. Remember. -- Always!" (The bold/underlined are in All Caps.).

I will also use this flag on days like flag day/4th of July, etc. It is My Civil Right. Yes I will display our red/white/blue but I will also display this flag.

There was a family that was required to remove their flag that was honoring their fallen family member and had decided to have it wave on the anniversay that he fell-in-the-line of duty. He was an Officer. I decided that I would always post this flag in Honor of my fallen Hero. This flag does not stand for any group Except the Blue Lives Matter. If anyone wants to read more about Blue Lives Matter search it out. Then go to either or both web sites in my signature and read about those that have fallen in your state as well as all of America. We are going to continue to Honor our true Heroes from Law Enforcement. There are other true heroes but this flag Honors our Law Enforcement Heroes.

All are welcome to pm me but Understand this one thing. If you have not walked the tunnel you do not understand the loss of a fallen officer. It is more than just losing a person in death. I have lost all of my family (except 2-but we have very little contact) and I have lost my Hero. There is a great difference.

I will also be making a quilt of this flag for my friend who has just lost her Hero and husband.

There are ways to make it easier for those going thru the loss at this time--whenever you read this post. Thanks for listening even that helps.

We have a young Grandson that is a Deputy in our county. Has been for about 4 years. His life sure means a lot to us. We always hope and pray he will be safe. We also have have two Grandsons who are Veterans.

Yes blue lives matter to us. Law enforcement is very much needed.

My father-in-law is a police officer. He's been in police work for 30 years or more. My mother-in-law tells me stories of how worried she would be when their children were younger and she would watch him get his bullet proof vest on for his shift. It was before cellphones and she never knew if he would come home.

He's like a Dad to me and is such an important person in our family. We back the Blue too.
