Default Accident with the school glue

I was spreading the glue on my quilt back and batting. I am using my cutting table and I do a portion and move it to another area and do more. the top came off of the container I was using. I put all the glue on a paper plate and used it. What the heck.

Well at least it was school glue and not paint or ink.

Hopefully you will be able to quilt it before you have to wash it. Good luck.

Glad it wasn't a catastrophe, just a mess. It reminded me of a spill I had in high school. I spilled one of those peel off face masks onto my desk in my room. Being late, I just thought I would clean it up when I got home. It was like rubber cement. When I got home, that afternoon, it just peeled right off in a huge sheet. That was one clean desktop.

Sounds like you managed to save the day! I haven't done that one 'yet'. No telling when I will. It won't change my mind about using washable school glue for basting a quilt. This is the simplest way and least stressful way to baste a quilt!

I finished the quilt and washed it and all glue is now gone. I posted a picture of quilt under pictures. I still have to clean the glue off the table.
