I agreed to take a bunch of fabric and supplies from the daughter of a lady who quilts. The mom is moving into a nursing home. It sounds like more than I could ever use. If you are in the San Diego area do you make charity quilts? Is there a group in San Diego that does? I'd be happy to drop the fabric and supplies off.

Check with your LQS, they most likely know of several groups. Churches, guilds, maybe even check with local veterans groups, hospice, and hospitals. One of our local hospitals has a quilting group that works with their pastoral program to give every terminally ill patient a quilt.

I live just north of you and the to quilt guilds here do lots!!! of charity quilts. I think Peckish is on the right path for you. And thank you for thinking of this.
