Default 4 or 9 disppearing path w/directional fab

Have the cutest cow fab. Cows are outlined with a few scattered over the fab colored in with primary colors. So darn cute. Thought about disappearing block and different secondary block. ? is...is there a disappearing block pattern suitable for directional fab? Don't want the cow fab to rotate. You guys are a lot smarter than I am so that's why I'm reaching out to you.

I think someone did a QB tutorial on how to get a directional print correct in the Disappearing 9 patch. You could also do a Warm wishes with your cow print in the big squares.

The DP 9P would work. Instead of turning the 2 corners, just swap them with each other. This keeps your cows all on their feet

i would put the cow fabric on the outer four corners, as those do not get cut (if you cut the 9 patch in the center horizontally and vertically). so in the final layout, it will be your biggest patch.

I made one with fish fabric. For me, it was easier just to cut the fabric and piece it in the correct way. I didn't want any fish floating upside down.

OMG! Another hilarious response. Great way to start my day. I just may use this fab as a panel. Less stressful to cut/sew. Still laughing...lol
