Default Need help with older model wooden frame

I have a frame given to me by an aunt. It has been years since I have used it. I have a hand sewn top I completed and am ready to quilt. The frame has a stabilizing bar but I see no way to attach it. Without it the frame is too rickety to use. I have tried bracing it with storage boxes, chairs, etc. but it still moves in ways it should not. Any advice would be appreciated.

Is it like this one? https://www.sewingmachinesplus.com/g...ting-frame.php
If it is, you need some quilt frame stands to hold it up. Like these. https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m640...AaAiywEALw_wcB
Then you use c-clamps to hold the boards together.

My Dad made a quilt frame for my mom years ago ... I have them now. 4 boards with holes drilled a couple inches apart down the center of each board. My mom would attach the quilt to the boards opposite sides and stitch through the holes with a basting stitch. Then with "C" clamps make the frame and baste the last 2 sides. Initially balanced on chairs ... then my Dad took some pipe fittings and made stands for the quilt to rest on.

Thank you so much for your reply. The stand I have is different. The ends are triangular with notches at the top where the rods to place the quilt fit in.
