Trip around the world using different size blocks
I would like to use up some scraps! Want to make a trip around the world and would like to use smaller blocks (thinking 2.5" 9 patch) in the middle and gradually go up to 5" blocks - anyone have suggestions? Anyone done this before?

I did an almost TATW once but ran into problems. As each consecutive row gets bigger it requires a lot of the same colour squares to go around. The next time I would do Bonnie Hunters TATW in blocks instead of the traditional way.

I just saw one this morning with 4 patches, starting about about 2.5" and gitting bigger.
Things get a lot bigger fast, think about the "if a penny doubled every day you'd have a million dollars by the end of the month"

TATW has been a favourite pattern of mine for a long time.
Now, this concept of TATW in different block sizes has me TOTALLY intrigued!!
Would love to see pics of quilts that any of you have made
... or links to ones others have made ...
...... or patterns for these TATW.
Please? and Thank you!!
