I saw a book on a quilt block called Turning Twenty. I didn't buy the book because I was sure that Quilteres Cache would have one. Well I was wrong, she didn't. But I loved the pattern and have heard its a easy beginner one. I am not a beginner but loved the one that was on the cover of this book. If no one can tell me where to find one, then I will stop in and get one next week. Thanks everyone, you guys are great.

Hi Rita,

I have a pattern called Turning Twenty using fat quarters and the block size finished is 16" x 16". If this is what you are looking for pm me with your address and I'll gladly send you a copy. The designer is Tricia Cribbs published by Friendfolks.

The original Turning Twenty was by Tricia Cribbs, I believe. She then put out two or three more booklets with more quilts like "turning twenty again" or "turning twenty around the block" (think that is right) YOu could google her name and find the patterns I am sure. I make the original turning twenty quite often for a quick colorful quilt!

Turning Twenty is a pattern book. The pattern follows a specific lay out and block construction. It's easy but you have to keep the pieces in a certain order.

Turning Twenty is a great pattern - my mom has used it a number of times.

Basically you can turn 20 fat quarters into a twin sized quilt.

I did a search on ebay and there are a number of patterns and books there:

this is the original turning twenty:

it appears there have been a number of variations (turning twenty again, turning twenty feeling groovy, etc).
