Fridgie Flowers

By popular demand......here's the fridgie flower tutorial
on edit: I've made these with 2" squares and I believe 3" squares.........

Cut 4 squares -- these are 1 1/2" square

Whack of corners -- or round with scissors

Stitch scant 1/4" -- be sure to backstitch on the ends. I did these on sewing machine, others I handstitched

turn the petals inside out.....heh heh - easier said than done!

Use double strands of thread & do a running stitch across open end....

Pull up to tighten and "lock" the stitch on the end.

All six are done!!! Lay out in pleasing fashion........

Stitch up from one petal on the "left" side (the green one) and thru to the right side of the 2nd petal...then running stitch thru to the left side of the 2nd petal

what it looks like after doing the above

Sew all six together to look like this.

Add a button - sewn or glued. Add a magnet or whatever on the back!!! You're done!
