What a great site! I'm interested in learning how to do hand appliqué. I've only ever made one king sized quilt (for my younger son's wedding) and a couple of baby quilts (for the grandchildren). However, I did once, several years ago, organize a Quilts for Kids group where the members recycled discontinued decorator material to make comfort quilts for kids in hospital with a life threatening illness or for those children in care who had been abused. I also grudgingly admit to having several unfinished quilting projects amongst which are a number of wall hangings that are semi-finished and that now have been "hanging around" for a very long time ;)

Well Hello Florida! As an aspiring snowbird to various locations, I've spent some time enjoying your southern sunshine in recent years [St.Pete's and environs].

Hello from Canada Anne! How lovely to hear from you -- I've been to county Meath -- looking for my kids ancestors [without a lot of luck, unfortunately].

Hi there. Was just through the lovely state of Colorado earlier this year on our way home from Arizona. And who is that handsome doggie in your Avatar?

Hi! It's been awhile since I've been in Minnesota, but my husband's Norwegian relatives come from there. Do you really have a little bear in your back yard :?:
