As some of you might remember, I am the one with the long arm that I wanted to leave out for the garbage man. I have made some progress since then, but it has been a real challenge.

I was on Craigslist.org which I look at frequently. I saw a quilters'sale where a lady had cleaned out her sewing room and was getting rid of some of her stash. I found some great scrap bags and some blocks that she had done that I am going to make pillows out of. I bought a couple of books and a couple of doilies and whatever else. My total came to $10. I gave her a twenty and she went in the house to get me change. Then she helped my mom and we were on our way to Joanns. When we were checking out at Joanns, I noticed that she had given me two tens back, they were stuck together.

So mom and I headed back to the sale to give her her money back. I spent six more dollars.. lol. but by this time the sale had calmed down and we were talking with her. She told me that she had taken a long arm class and got the information for me. I couldn't believe my ears. It's a 4 hour class and is only $45! And I would have never known about it if she had not given me incorrect change.

Isn't that funny. Some are a world away and others are practically our neighbors. :-) I am close to Long Lake on the East side. I grew up in Bradford, a suburb of Isanti, LOL. I moved away for a while, but missed home. I love being back.
