I am looking for a pattern for a sewing machine caddy. I sits under your machine and has a holder that hangs in front of you to hold all your stuff so it doesn't get lost under all the fabric. The ones I have seen have clear plastic in front or a contrasting fabric. I have asked but everyone says they found the instructions on line. I have tried and have not found it. Maybe it is called something else? It reminds me of an arm chair caddy but for your sewing machine.

here's the one i have - mccall's - if you can catch a sale, you could probably get it for $2 or so.

Here's one my sister made for me. It looks like the same pattern, but I'll ask her where she got it.

Just an idea ... in the past I have purchased clear plastic over-the-door shoe holders from the dollar store and cut them up to the size I've needed and modified them to fit. The plastic see-thru pouches are big enough to hold larger items (scissors, etc) and also large enough to fit your hand in to retrieve. (I had leftover holders from the "Beany Baby" days that I needed to find another use for.)
