I don't know what I was thinking when I actually thought I could finish these for Christmas......I'm in retail so I have NO extra time. These are my 2 first big quilting projects. I've sewn all my life and did some quilting quite a few years ago but just got started again in August. What fun, and like everyone else, I'm hooked!

Pat, how cool your flip flop quilt is....did you have a pattern? My grand daughters would love it. The yellow brick road quilt is beautiful.

Love Love Love the flip flop and sunglasses quilt. Also, the colors on the YBR are really great.

The flip-flop quilt is a pattern from Karie Patch Designs called "Fun In the Sun". http://www.kariepatch.com/store/Default.asp

I got the Yellow Brick Road pattern at a LQS in Lancaster, but google it and you'll find it readily available.

hmmm....I am thinking for doing a quilt for the beach...that would be perfect!! I was thinking of using a beach towel for the backing. Has anyone done that before??
