Is anyone doing the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangles" from the Quilt Show? I signed up for it and I'm still working on cutting my fabric. Soon I'm going to Mesa, AZ, for three weeks and leave this snow & cold. I'm worried I will not get mine finished because I don't have a machine there. I guess if I would stay off this blog I'd get more done, but that is very hard to do. Just interested in the progress of others.

Yes, I am! I have 140 done so far and plan to do more. They go so much faster than I thought. Perhaps, you could do the sewing before going to AZ and do the cutting while there. Just a thought. There's plenty of time to mail the triangles - they would like them before April 1st.

Karen, are you using different fabric for each paper, that is 28 different light and 28 different dark? I finally finished cutting and am now pinning. I would never get done if I was doing as many as you but I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for you encouraging words.

It's a good thing the weather is so bad at least I get more done.

Shirley, I'm using different fabrics for each paper. I have 5 sheets pinned and plan to sew those on Monday when I get my machine back.

Enjoy the warm weather in AZ!

You might want to check the weather. I think they have been having snow in Arizona, too.

Great, I'll call my brother and see if they have had snow in Mesa. What a year for crazy weather. Thanks for the heads up. It has to be warmer than here, I don't think we've seen 30 since Christmas.

yes indeed we have. I am on the eastern side of Arizona. The other morning our temperature was -18 degrees. Yup, you read that right. Over in Pheonix it was only 20.
This morning it is almost 40.
