Tuesday while decked out in my Carhartt overalls, coat, hat and gloves breakin ice and putting out feed for the little horse I realized it should be a quilting day .... so with flying geese and log cabins on my mind the chores went fast .... came in and started a pot of stew and got that log cabin quilt cut out ..... what a wonderful winter day .....

the stew was soooooo good

Boy that looks yummy...
They packed up the kitchen two weeks ago.... I'm having to go out into the storage unit and find food and pans because I'm snowed in and can't order out. At least we have the oven hooked up now... but my pots and pans are in the storage and I don't have the water in the kitchen hooked up yet... no counter tops :( ... but we're warm... and have soups...

I was going to make stew or beef soup this past Monday, decided against it and worked on my latest quilt, may make some this weekend.
Yours looks very good.
