I have finished this work of art. I started it on February 21 when I purchased the batiks for the plates. On March 5th, I purchased the background fabric on a shop hop with 8 of the members from the board that live around the Detroit Metro area. On March 27th, I sandwiched it and finished quilting it on April 1st. No Joke, HE HE HE. And then I finished the binding April 3rd at 12:27pm.

I think this is the fastest time I have ever made a quilt. Now, I just have to make and sew on my label.

Finished quilt

Wow Chuck! That is great - is that a blanket stitch around each peak? I love the colors!

Chuck it is stunning...love those beautiful colours and the quilting is superb. That sunburst radiating out really gives great dimension. Very speedy too! Thanks for sharing with us.
