I know they're not quilts, just lowly mug rugs... but they were fun to make and I won't have time for "real" quilts until summer.

These were thrown together from some tiny scraps left over from a dress my friend made for her daughter. She's an art student at the local university, and tonight was the opening of her exhibit on Movie Monsters. I wish I had a photo of the dress, it was smashing. The fabric is from Robert Kaufman's "Pleasures and Pastimes" collection. Fun, huh?
