Default From WIP to UFO to Done!

I sprayed all the fabric for this quilt the 27th of June last year. I started on it right away and then the size made me nervous so I put it away after making ten blocks. I pulled it back out later in the year and got 25 blocks half way done. put it back away then the other day after I finished my dads quilt I pulled it out, decided to make it a little smaller and I finshed everything in just a couple days! lol Even though I down sized it quite a bit it still finished 65.5" x 87" which is nice lap size for my husband!

Stunning! What a beautiful quilt! Was this made from a pattern or your design?

Fabulous!!
What pattern did you use? I can see it's a variation of the log cabin.....

Thanks everyone!

I wouldn't say that it is my own design, a couple years ago before I started quilting I seen a quilt that was made with uneven log cabin blocks they were put together in a way that formed a flag. I don't have a picture of the original, nor do I know where it came from I just remember seeing it while looking for something else. I sat down at the computer last year and twisted and turned an uneven template until I got it just right.

The only block used in this quilt is called an uneven log cabin block with the center "log" being a HST!
