What is this quilt pattern?

A friend is trying to figure out the name of this quilt pattern. I've never seen it before but I was hoping one of you might recognize it. Thanks.

This is the picture she sent to me so I don't think I can make it bigger. It does look like a combination of several, though. I think it's really pretty.

Looks like the checkerboard blocks are 6 x 6 probably 1" finished squares. Not sure what pattern is used for the pieced star sashing. It's really pretty!

I see 3 main blocks in it (no idea on the names)
One is a 16 patch

the way i see it is the patches is 6x6 with the red in each corner. then the sashing is elongated diamonds.

That's the first time I have done that. I saved the pic to a file and then chose the file as an attachment.

It's very pretty, but I can't find it in any of my EQ libraries - even Block Base.

It looks like there are three blocks, all the same size. You could reproduce it in any size you want.
