I started a new quilt today because I just had to. Ever feel like that? Had some of this fabric, but no pattern in mind, so I went with the flow again! Hope it doesn't look too busy. I wanted to test my feel for colors, textures and get a little risky with it.

I am making it twin size (with no recipient in mind for this one too) and I was playing around with the blocks. One pic shows 5 across and 5 down, but I settled on 4 across and 7 down. I have the first 4 rows sewn with sashes, 3 to go. This is my favorite part of quilting. It's beginning to take form before me and it's a great feeling.

    What do ya think?

PS And I have no info on the name of it either. Just one of those stash freebies and I was working off the flowers. The rest I bought, so it was a jump start to a quit.

This is all I had of this fabric

Added a little of this and a little of that and some of something else and came up with these....

OH I think it is just so cute! I LOVE the happy little flowers!
I also love your puppy pal! I just know there is a bit of terrier in there! I have a soft place in my heart for them! Started out with Yorkies, then scotties... then Westies... now I have 3 schnauzer girls!
    Blessings.

Awww, that's going to be adorable! I know exactly how you feel - I have two quilt tops waiting for borders and quilting, and am currently working on at least one wall hanging. When one project gets held up - I can't help but start another one!
