I made this from a piece of pre quilted fabric. You can make the pockets any size and keep all your things close at hand. Seam ripper, snips, small ruler, tape measure, stiletto etc. Just sits under your machine. It's really handy and a piece of cake to make

    That's really pretty!

My problem would be putting them BACK in the pockets, I find things migrate all over the house if they're in my hand when I get up from the machine.

Hey! Good idea! I have some prequilted fabric I didn't know what to do with it. I could make one of those for each machine. I have a problem of borrowing the screwdriver from one machine, or the thread cap, and then can't find the one I want at the right machine. Or something falls to the floor and have to bend over to find it. If I had one of those it could go right in there.....yeah....

I have one for when I go to classes that is for garbage! Threads etc. It is nicer than taping a paper bag to the table and stays in my rolling case and is always available! It was made from quilted fabric and bias tape edges and just folded up once. I also made them for my board at my guild at the end of my term. There are some great fabrics in the quilted fabric! And I tried to use fabric I thought match each board member's personality.
