    Oh, I may get in trouble for posting this by some fellow quilters. I had some Friendship Star blocks from a swap I was in, they were 12.5 inch blocks. They were too big for me, beautiful fabrics, but just too big of a block.

    So I cut them up and re-assembled them. I really like the look of this quilt top. It is not a traditional pattern but there is a pattern and the colors are wonderful.

    Well done! I love the way it came out - and great thinking :) It really does go to show that the d4p is great no matter what the block is! I think it adds a bit of fun to it :)

    I like it too - can you show us what the original blocks looked like, or have you cut them all up now.

    If not, did you do it exactly like the instructions for a D9P?
