Just watched the U-tube and took notes and then saw your post, so saved it to have to I can make one. Thank you so much, as I lived in TX for a long time love the star just as I still love TX.

Love your quilt! Thank you for getting permission to share AND for providing the yardage measurements. That will make getting the material so much easier or even (gasp!) using some from my stash!

I have learned so much from the Missouri Star Quilt Company and recommend it to all new quilters. Jenny is so down home .

Thanks so much for sharing your yardage and instructions! I'm really excited because I have th 6.5" square, 5" charm square and the 2.5" strip cutter dies for my GO! This will be my frist 'real' GO! project since all I've done up until now is the tumbler block.

And thanks to Jenny too for giving her permission to post it! (I had already watched the video and saved it in my You-tube file!)

This can also be done with Charm Packs. Missouri Star has a pretty one today as their Daily Deal. It is Rustling Leaves by Cheryl Haybes for Benartex Fabrics for 99 cents! [h=2][/h]

I bought 4 layer cakes of Orchard House so I could duplicate Jenny's quilt. They have been calling me for weeks. I even cut the cream background 10" pieces a couple of weeks ago, so I can just start sewing. I'm making 2 King quilts. And I received a 401 Slant-O-Matic Singer for Christmas! Just waiting, I guess, on my 1/4" foot to come in the mail. Yea, that's my excuse!! But, after seeing your quilt, I might just use my Bernina and start sewing right away. Yours is very attractive!!

I made this quilt also. This one was for my granddaughter for Christmas. I did not put the sashing strip in but did snowball the corner blocks. Really easy quilt, I will make another!
