I so much want to make this quilt, however I am not so sure I want that large of blocks. Would you think I could start with 8 inch squares and adjust corner blocks to fit? Just a thought.

Lol here it is almost 2 years to the date ... I have the blocks all made and the big star quilt is on my 2015 UFO is for another thread on these boards...love your take on Jenny's pattern. Thank you for posting.
