That is going to be one beautiful quilt. I want to try a Churn Dash using the same design in a fabric but in different colors. I have about 10 colors so far.

I bought this same fabric and the panel at Walmart a couple of years ago and haven't used it yet. I love what you have done with it! Very nice.

I am doing the same pattern but I am doing the center block the same as the hst. So it is all one color on a solid light blue background. J J

Tippy, what a great tute! I just took a class this past Sat for a miniature churn dash. The instructor used a lot of Sally Collins techniques, especially double startching any fabric that's going to be cut out on the bias. I was impressed; my block (finished at 3") came out perfect with 1/4" seam allowance. Your tutorial will make a great addition for techniques in my 'tool stash'. Thanks so much.
