Thanks for the tute. Good idea. I must need a 'shrink' though, because I like making hst's. Different strokes for different folks.

Oh boy....i am excited. went out in the poring rain to Joann's to get a templete......already had fabric....came home and tried it and I CAN DO IT. !!!! thank you so much for the tute. Now I am going to spray with starch.

This is how I make my HST's. It's soooo much faster than every other method I've tried, including using the Easy Angle ruler. As far as the bias, I've found that if you don't finger them or tug on them, it's really not a problem.

Hi Sandy
I like your idea just a question do you line up the ruler with the edge of the fabric or do you line it up on the 1/4 stitch line? you have sewn down each side

I line my ruler on the bottom edge...making sure that the top point of the ruler does not extend above that seam...see as pictured.
