    Lightbulb Quick wool appliqué

    Wool appliqué directions

    Items needed

    Freezer paper and a pencil
    Sharp scissors
    Wool
Background fabric ( can be wool, flannel, cotton, etc).
Pearl size 8 ( this is what I use but directions can vary)
Embroidery Needle size 22 (to go with the pearl size 8)
    Appliqué pins

    1. Trace each appliqué piece onto freezer paper.

    2. Cut out each piece leaving some paper all the way around the piece.

    3. Iron the freezer paper onto the right side of the wool (some wool is the same on both sided).

    4. Cut each piece out exactly on the line.

    5. Layout the wool onto the background fabric. Once in place remove the freezer paper and pin down. Bast stitch of desired.

    6. Blanket stitch each piece down

    Tips
It can be easier with stacked pieces (where one piece is on top of another)
to appliqué them together before Placing them on the background.

I just love to sew wool appliqué. I collect wool clothing from my local Saver's. They sell clean clothes at cheap prices.
