I will tell how I sewed blocks for that quilt - http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-50511-1.htm

My English is not too good but I will try :D .

I did not use special rulers for this block. I had only a triangular ruler and usual square ruler at my order.
I didi it anyway. :D

However, my pictures are detailed so I hope you will understand all only on photos.

All strips on pictures have width 1 1/2 inches, the size of squares is 4 inches.

Step 1.
To cut a light strip on a trapezes:
(Length of the short party of each trapeze - 1 3/4 inches, the long party - 4 3/4 inches.)

Again to sew trapezes to a dark strip, to iron and cut

Hi CAROLJ ! :-)

Then to repeat first six steps having changed a dark and light fabric. It means to cut a dark fabric on a trapeze and to sew them to light strips. Also to cut light squares on triangles.

After that it is possible to collect the block.
