Default Measuring

When I am making templates - I use the "side" of my ruler for placement of the tick marks to add the 1/4 inch seam allowance. Then I join the tick marks.

I do not draw a line at the end of the ruler - because that adds the pencil line width in addition to the 1/4 inch.

My high school mechanical drawing classes taught me to do the same point to point lines. A smart tip. TFS
