Thank you for great instructions. Made one and now think I will make several! Love that they are washable.

A lot of quilt shops will tell you Warm and Natural is 100% cotton but I have found it is NOT. It has a small non-cotton content. PLEASE if you plan to make these (and I have made several), use Warm Tater batting AND 100% cotton thread. It really does make a difference.

Glaced cotton thread has a coating that will eventually end up in your sewing machine...do NOT use it for machine sewing..It also states that on the spool info...the reason not to use anything poly for the bowls is the melting factor that could happen in the microwave and ruin it..

Quilt shops in South Carolina are now selling kits for these and are calling them "Koozies"

I have read this tute many times and it is bookmarked. I have made many over 12 for gifts and I do give them away if my husband lets me. He absolutely loves them and uses them any time he has a bowl, hot cold whatever. Thanks so much for sharing this. I appreciate you.
