This block can be scrapped, planned or use charm squares and honeybun precuts. It can look like a traditional Pineapple block or with some other fabric placements be a great block to feature a fussy cut or photo. Here are two of my experimental blocks and a PDF with complete instructions and some sample full quilt layouts.

this uses 5 squares and 1.5 strips in a picture frame layout

Here I randomized the stripwidth and corner size. What do you think? Tote? Pillow? Tabletopper?
