Sorry girls, have not heard from the tutor at all, so I better not do the tutorial on the table topper incase of copy right. However I am going to show you the technique.Like any patchwork pattern, once you have the know how, you can create your own design. I am showing you the squares and triangle(equilateral triangle to be exact) You will need besides fabric - cards from cereal packets compass, protractor and pencil(as sharp as possible) A4 sandpaper (optional) wadding (good time to use up small pieces-but make sure they are all of the same wt) Templates
5" square is a good size, so this is what I am working on. Draw and cut using the cards 1) Circle with 3 5/8" radius (A) 2) Circle with 4" radius (B) 3) Semi circle with 4'' radius PLUS 1/4" seam allowance on the straight edge (C) For the triangle- I am using a 5 1/8" 1) triangle with 5 1/8" on all 3 sides with angles 60 degrees (D) 2) Circle with 3" radius (E) 3) Circle with 3 3/8" radius (F) Cutting- 5" squares for fabric and wadding for each square To make the square
1)Here is when I used the sandpaper.Place fabric on it with wrong side up.Draw a circle on it with Temp B
2)Sew small gathering stitches round circle about 1/8" from edge of fabric.Make sure thread is long enough to go right round with knot and finishing thread on the right side of fabric. 3)Place Temp A on the wrong side and in the centre, pull up gathering thread,until tightPress with fairly hot iron. 4)Loosen slightly enough to remove Temp A.Pull back to reshape.Press again. 5)Remove gathering stitches 6)With wrong side facing up, place 5" sq wadding 1st and then fabric in the center. Press.
7)Close 2 opposite curved edges at a time
8)Hand/machine quilt on the curved edge
9)Join 2 squares at the back with small stitches

Join the 2 halves together and follow No2-No5

Triangle-Cut wadding using triangle Temp D. Cut fabric using TempF. follow as No2 in square. Place Temp E in centre and gather up stitches.Press.Follow as No4 and No5.Place triangle wadding in centre .

Square with 2 colours-cut 2 contrasting fabrics with Temp C

Fold over 3 curved edges.
